Meet the Founder and Owner, Rachel Hack

Rachel's journey showcases her willingness to explore various industries and her ability to adapt to different roles. Her experience in fashion, HR, talent acquisition, and entrepreneurial ventures contributes to her diverse skill set. As the founder of Splash Concierge Maryland, she leaped to run her own business, where her organizational and problem-solving skills are used to provide high-quality concierge services to her clients.

Rachel was born and raised in Reisterstown, MD. But in the early 1990s, her family decided to move to the Annapolis, MD, area. After graduating from Severna Park High School, Rachel worked in commission sales at Nordstrom, igniting her passion for fashion. This led her to attend The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in San Francisco, CA, where she obtained a degree in Merchandise Marketing. With her degree in hand, Rachel worked in the merchandising department for Old Navy, a part of Gap, Inc., gaining experience in the fashion industry.

Rachel moved back to Maryland to be with her family, where she embarked on a 16-year career in Human Resources and Talent Acquisition. She started as an HR Generalist and transitioned into agency and in-house recruitment roles, working with start-ups and global companies in various industries.

In the summer of 2020, Rachel recognized the need for as-needed business concierge services and began servicing regular clients. She handled tasks such as running errands, property management, office move planning, and recruiting.

In June 2022, Rachel boldly decided to leave corporate America and pursue her business venture full-time. This marked the official establishment of her company, Splash Recruiting, of which Rachel is the owner and principal recruiter.

Rachel is a proud and active community member, including the Greater Annapolis Design District.
